One after another, bartender Chelsea Cole has made 10 summer drinks - blending, shaking, stirring, pouring - and now they're lined up on the bar top in pinks and yellows and sunset oranges and neon blues. They call to me in the way only fruity drinks can, and I wage the same battle in my head men everywhere have fought since umbrella drinks came in vogue. I swear I hear the Pineapple Upside-down Cake Martini speak my name. I know you're a guy and it's not masculine to like me, but I taste so good. No one will know. It's OK. |
